Our MC: Dr Red Ruby Scarlet

Dr Red Ruby Scarlet has over 30 years of experience in early childhood education - nationally and internationally.

She presents enticing keynotes, facilitates workshops, offers consultancy and research services, MCs events, writes books and journal articles, develops curriculum documents and facilitates teacher-research projects.

Dr Red Ruby Scarlet will be traveling out to Forbes to host our 2026 Awards Dinner, presenting trophies to our award winners.

There may also be some entertainment from Red's NQF the Musical!

Why Forbes?

We started in Blayney in 2023.

In 2024 we took the dinner to Orange.

In 2025 we visited Bathurst.

In 2026, we thought we would head far west to Forbes... and the home of our name sake Certificate III Memorial Award, Molly Ticehurst.

Can anyone come to the awards dinner?

Yes! You don't have to be a nominee or a finalist to come along, everyone is welcome!

When do ticket sales close?

Ticket sales close October 19.

Can I buy just 1 ticket or does it have to be a table of 8?

You can buy just 1 ticket.

Tables of 8 have a slight discount, so if buying tickets for a centre, its advisable that you purchase whole tables.

Can I choose who I sit with?

When placing your ticket order, please use the comments section to be specific about who you wish to sit with. Names of people and centres are very useful when creating the seating plan. When using centre names, please be specific ie 'Goodstart' could mean one of 10 centres, say 'Goodstart Orange Molong Rd'.

If I win, do I have to make a speech?

We would love you to! If you win, we would love to hear a short 3 minute speech about why people think you're amazing!

I'm a finalist but I can't make the dinner.
